Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 4 November 2026
1. General
1.1. The owner of meirfodor.com (the “Website”), Meir Fodor, considers it important to provide equal and accessible service to all users, including people with disabilities.
1.2. The Website has been adapted to the requirements of the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 at level AA. The Website was built to WCAG 2.1 at level AA, which includes the 2.0 guidelines.
2. Accessibility adjustments
2.1. Keyboard navigation: all pages, links and buttons of the Website can be operated using the keyboard alone, and the focus position is clearly marked.
2.2. Skip to content: every page begins with a “Skip to content” link, which appears on keyboard navigation and bypasses the menu.
2.3. Accessibility tab: every page has an accessibility tab on the right edge of the screen. It opens a panel with a link to this statement and, on pages with animated objects, a “Pause animations” button that stops all continuous motion on the Website. The choice is kept in the browser.
2.4. Reduced motion: when the user’s device is set to reduce motion, the Website does not display animations.
2.5. Contrast: the color contrast between text and background meets the ratio required at level AA.
2.6. Text alternatives: the drawn objects are decorative elements. Each field has a name and description written as text, which screen readers read aloud. Links that open in a new tab are announced as such to screen readers.
2.7. Structure: the pages have a hierarchical heading structure, defined page regions (menu, main content, footer) and a declared page language.
2.8. Reflow: the Website displays without horizontal scrolling at a width of 320 pixels, and thereby supports zooming up to 400%.
2.9. Target size: all links and buttons are at least 24 by 24 pixels, or have sufficient spacing between them.
3. How the Website was checked
3.1. The adjustments were checked on 4 November 2026 with the axe automated testing tool, on every page of the Website, on desktop and phone screen sizes, together with manual checks of keyboard navigation, focus marking, the accessibility tab, stopping motion and narrow-screen display.
4. Limitation
4.1. The owner works to keep the Website accessible. Nevertheless, some elements may be found not to be fully accessible.
5. Accessibility contact
5.1. A user who encounters difficulty using the Website is asked to contact the accessibility coordinator, and the owner will work to correct it promptly.
